BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport Athletic Department is excited to announce Noelle Poloncarz as the recipient of the 2018 SUNY Chancellor's Scholar Athlete Award.
 
The award is the highest award given to a student-athlete in the State University of New York system. The award recognizes a combination of outstanding academic excellence and superior athletic achievement. In order to be considered for this award, student-athletes were nominated by their athletic director. Nominees then had their academic credentials and athlete accomplishments reviewed by athlete directors from across the State University system. Based on both her academic and athletic performances, Poloncarz earned the prestigious award.
 
Poloncarz is no stranger to success, as this is her third time receiving this award. Poloncarz is also a two-time State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Scholar Athlete of the Year award recipient and also boasts a standout career on the court. The senior is a three-time All-American selection, a three-time AVCA All-Region pick and a three-time All-SUNYAC selection. She finishes her career with 3,910 assists and led the team to a conference record of 32-4 over her career, winning 27 consecutive conference matches.
