Senior Amanda Carney (Walpole, MA/Walpole) won the vault, sophomore Faith Burns (Little River, SC/Academy for Arts, Science and Technology) tied for the top spot on the balance beam while The College at Brockport took the top five spots on the uneven bars and top four spots on floor exercise to dominate the Brockport Invitational and setting a new school record for team score with 192.225 Sunday afternoon in the Tuttle North Gymnastics facility in Brockport.

The previous record was set just a week ago as Brockport (12-7) scored a 191.050 in a dual meet against Cortland. On Sunday, Brockport scored 48 or more team points in three of the four events. The Golden Eagles also eclipsed the 190-point milestone Saturday at an NCAA Division I meet at Penn State against the Nittany Lions, Iowa State and the University of Pennsylvania. Brockport has recorded three of the top four scores in school history in the last eight days.

The balance beam has been the strongest event of the year for the Golden Eagles and Sunday was not much different as Brockport scored 48.150 with the top five scores of the meet. Burns was the high scorer for Brockport with a 9.75 followed by junior Lily Jagodzinski (Tonawanda, NY/Williamsville North) with a 9.7, sophomore Jen Sklenar (Canfield, OH/Cardinal Mooney) was next with a 9.65 and Schuler added a 9.6 while fellow sophomore Kendal Hamer (Ocala, FL/Trinity Catholic) rounded out the scores with a 9.45.
