2012 SUNYAC All-Conference Teams

Three players from The College at Brockport Softball team have been named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Conference team. Emily Dumas (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) was selected to the first-team while Caitlyn Rana (Ballston Lake, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) and Erin Fleming (Friendship, NY/Bolivar-Richburg) were named to the second-team.

Dumas was the top offensive producer for the Golden Eagles this season, leading the team with a .383 batting average and 10 home runs. The 10 home runs tied the single season school record. Dumas also led Brockport with 43 RBI, 83 total bases, and a .722 slugging percentage and .475 on base percentage. The sophomore was second in the SUNYAC in home runs and RBI. Dumas was also named to the SUNYAC All-Tournament team after going 5-13 with three doubles in Brockport's four games. Dumas reached base in every single game this season and her streak is currently at 47 straight games. The primary first baseman was named SUNYAC Player of t he week on April 2.

Rana was named to the second-team after finishing second on the team with a .364 batting average. Rana started all 42 games in centerfield and scored a team-high 31 runs. The junior's 47 hits led the Golden Eagles as well.

Fleming has also been named to the second-team after posting a 9-5 record in the circle. The sophomore started 14 games, tossing five complete games and two shutouts on the season. Her two shutouts came in back-to-back games against Potsdam and Plattsburgh and earned her the SUNYAC and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Pitcher of the Week awards.

Brockport finished the season with a 27-15 record and came in third place in the SUNYAC Tournament.
