Sarah Brown (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee) of The College at Brockport Women's Lacrosse team has been named to the weekly Division III National Honor Roll by synapsesports.com.
Brown, who has also been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Player of the Week and The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week, tallied 18 points in a 2-0 conference week for the Golden Eagles.
Brown posted back-to-back nine point performances as the Brockport women's lacrosse team improved to 4-1 in the SUNYAC and 8-2 overall. The Golden Eagles are the top scoring team in the SUNYAC. Brown put up a career-high nine points against Geneseo in a 23-12 victory. The junior netted two goals and had seven assists, the second-most in school history.
Brown came right back in the team's next game against Oswego State to net four goals and dish out five assists. With the nine points against the Lakers, Brown moved into fifth place all-time on the Brockport career scoring list with 171 points.
