Brown got her first point of the day just 3:50 into the contest with an assist to Karen Bianchi (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee) to give Brockport an early 1-0 lead. The two teams traded the first four goals of the game before Oswego took a 3-2 lead at the 16:06 mark. Less than a minute later, Zartman opened up a scoring spree for the Golden Eagles. Over a course of ten minutes, Zartman scored three goals to go along with two goals from Nina Tassone (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) and one goal from Dayna Piraino (Syracuse, NY/Henninger) as Brockport took an 8-3 lead.
