Sophomore
Tyler Marlow (Palmyra, NY/Palmyra-Macedon) and junior
Paul Glover (Rochester, NY/Spencerport) were each eliminated in two matches Friday at the NCAA Division III National Championship meet at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Glover lost in the first round to the No. 4 seeded wrestler in the 197-pound bracket and dropped into the consolation bracket. In his first consolation bout, Glover dropped a double-overtime decision due to a riding time differential to Hunter's Musa De'Reese and was eliminated from the competition.
Marlow lost his matches to wrestlers from Rhode Island College and Concordia (Wisconsin) to be eliminated from the tournament.
Both Marlow and Glover took second place at the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference (ECWC) championships and were selected as wildcard bids to the NCAA Championship Tournament.
