Senior Dustin Colgan (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Male Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the St. Lawrence Invitational.

At St. Lawrence, Colgan won both the shot put and the weight throw for Brockport and put up Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) qualifying marks. In the shot put, Colgan won the event with a mark of 14.96 meters. Colgan was the top finisher at the RIT Invitational on Jan. 14 in Brockport's first meet of the season.

In the weight throw event, Colgan came up with a distance of 15.54. His career best in the weight throw is 16.73 meters.

The Golden Eagles finished second overall at St. Lawrence with a team score of 126.333. St. Lawrence came in first place.
