The Golden Eagles (7-3 overall, 4-1 State University of New York Athletic Conference) went 3-0 last week to break into the also receiving votes portion of the national rankings. Brockport used an 8-1 spurt over the final 19 minutes to rally for a 12-9 win over the Blue Knights, who entered the game undefeated and the No. 20 team in the IWLCA's poll. Geneseo entered the contest averaging more than 18 goals per game, but Brockport's defense stymied Geneseo and limited the Blue Knights to their lowest scoring output of the season.
Brockport then blitzed RIT 15-4 and Oswego 17-3 at home on Friday and Saturday to extend its winning streak to four. Senior
Jamie Kaminsky (Oakdale, NY/Sayville) earned the SUNYAC's Female Goalie of the Week honors after holding Geneseo, RIT and Oswego to just 16 goals in 180 minutes of action.

Sarah Brown (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee), Brockport's leading scorer with 26 goals, 18 assists and 44 points, scored eight goals with seven assists on the week to earn Brockport's Female Athlete of the Week honors. Junior
Dayna Piraino (Syracuse, NY/Henninger) has scored 17 of her 27 points during the win streak, with seven of her 11 goals and 10 of her 16 assists coming during the streak.
The Golden Eagles will face SUNYAC rival Fredonia (10-3, 3-2 SUNYAC) at 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at Spencerport High School.
