Dumas Named to All-Region Squad

2012 NFCA Teams

Sophomore Emily Dumas (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) of The College at Brockport Softball team has been named to the 2012 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III Northeast All-Region Third-Team. Dumas was one of 15 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) players selected to either the first, second or third teams.

School Records Fall for Track & Field

Results

Junior Nicole Jones (West Charlton, NY/Galway) won the shot put with a school-record throw and freshman Rachel Malone (Fairport, NY/Fairport) set a new school record in the 5,000-meter run to lead The College at Brockport Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field squads at the Sixth Annual Gator Invitational Meet Friday evening at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

Three Named to First-Team All-SUNYAC

2012 SUNYAC All-Conference Teams

Three members of The College at Brockport Baseball team were selected to the First-Team All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC). Senior Corey Booth (Middletown, NY/Minisink Valley), junior James Bardenett (Syracuse, NY/Henninger) and sophomore Justin McCarthy (Mohegan Lake, NY/Lakeland) were selected to the 12-player team.

Four Men, Four Women on All-Conference

2012 Men's All-Conference Teams 2012 Women's All-Conference Teams

Eight members of The College at Brockport Men's and Women's Track and Field teams have been named to the first or second all-conference teams. Four men and four women were selected, including two freshmen from each team. The top two finishers in individual events at the SUNYAC Championships make the All-Conference teams. The individual champions are on the first team and second place finishers are on the second team.

Three players from The College at Brockport Softball team have been named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Conference team. Emily Dumas (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) was selected to the first-team while Caitlyn Rana (Ballston Lake, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) and Erin Fleming (Friendship, NY/Bolivar-Richburg) were named to the second-team.

The College at Brockport Women's Lacrosse team has placed four players on the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Conference teams. Junior Emily Zartman (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua) was the lone Golden Eagle named to the First-Team All-SUNYAC.

Baseball Falls Short in Championship Game

The College at Brockport Baseball team fell to No. 5 nationally ranked Cortland in a thrilling State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship game, 4-3. The Golden Eagles were competing in their fifth consecutive SUNYAC Championship game, all against Cortland. Travis Renwick (Middletown, NY/Chapel Field Christian) gave up just two hits in the first seven innings as he made his first appearance in the SUNYAC Tournament.
